Inclusions

 

Your Botswana safari experience includes a comprehensive range of services to ensure you have an unforgettable journey:

 

- Accommodation: 

14 nights on tour experiencing a blend of sleeping in roof top tents as we immerse ourselves in the bush and bush camping, interspersed with the luxury of premium safari lodges. Towels and bedding included

 

- Meals: 

Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner when camping.  Firewood and gas bottles provided.

Meals not provided at lodging. 

(this will be discussed in greater depth for those who will be joining us on the tour)

 

- Transport:

All ground transportation in a 4x4 safari vehicle, ensuring comfort and excellent wildlife viewing.  Plus shuttle bus into Zimbabwe with knowledgeable guide.

Fuel is also included

 

- Guided Tours:

This is a passion project, Mark and Mel are not ‘tour guides’ but will navigate the bush driving routes, offer general advice around the do’s and don’ts and share a wealth of information and experience of the bush.  

 

- Activities:

Exciting activities such as game drives, bird watching, helicopter rides over the Victoria Falls and river cruise on the Okavango Delta to see the natural wildlife.

 

 Exclusions

While we strive to provide an all-encompassing experience, some items are not included in the tour cost:

 

- Park Fees: The Victoria Falls incurs a cost of US$30.

 

- Border Crossing: Into Zimbabwe US$50

 

- Accommodation for stay in Johannesburg (arrival and departure). 

​

- Airport Transfers: Convenient pick-up and drop-off at designated airports.

​

- International and Domestic Flights: Airfare to and from the tour start and end points.

 

- Travel Insurance: Personal travel insurance, including health, baggage, emergency medical evacuation and trip cancellation coverage.

 

- Personal Expenses: Items such as souvenirs, personal purchases, travelling snacks  and  optional activities not included in the itinerary.

 

- Tips and Gratuities: Tips for guides, drivers, and hotel staff.

 

- F & B: Meals at lodges are not included, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks not specified in the inclusions.

 

Please note we are unable to cater for any complex dietary requirements.

                                   - Cape Town:  Should you decide to make the most of travelling to South Africa and add an extra week in

Cape Town, we are happy to assist with information etc. However this is not included in any costings.

 

- Visas and Vaccinations: Visa fees, immunizations, and other travel-related expenses.
